The final week of the 4th Quadrant Expedition Leg 3 Middle Spiral ran from June 7th to the 13th, 2024 and featured some interesting biological finds. This new-to-me biological variant called fungoida stabitis jutting out of the soil in a dark crater is one such example on Plio Eurl BT-U c2-11 C 1 a.
Osseus spiralis on Hegue JT-P c19-0 2 d and osseus cornibus on Preae Theia HP-C b40-1 B 3 are two very different looking osseus variants. I found the look of the spiralis under the red sun arresting.
These recepta conditivus aquamarine were scattered down into a deep crater on Preae Theia NB-O b20-0 1. Luckily I managed to find a large enough outcropping to land on and took my SRV around to scan the three necessary samples.
These aleoida coronamus emerald aren't as large as previous variants I had found, but were still easy to see on Plio Eurl BT-U c2-11 C 1 a.
I don't often see many biological types clustered together, but here on Plio Eurl BT-U c2-11 C 1 a I found cactoida cortexum, stratum excutitus, and aleoida coronamus emerald very close by each other. Although quite common in more mountainous areas, I also found frutexa acus on this world.
This expedition was a great success for my Exploration rank reaching Elite V and my Exobiology rank reaching Elite I, as well for my wallet thanks to the very high payouts for discovering new biologicals nobody had scanned before. I will work to spend more time flying with others on my next expedition, but for now I'm spending time in the bubble upgrading ships and trying to learn how to raid settlements to get materials for upgrading suits.
