I've enjoyed some games and franchises for a very, very long time:

• Elite Dangerous (PC) - I've played since it launched in 2014 -- including the Horizons and Odyssey expansions -- but I've been playing Elite games since Elite first launched on the Commodore 64 in the early 1980s.
• No Man's Sky (PS4, PS5) - I've played No Man's Sky on and off since its 2016 launch.
• Majesty - this game holds the record for the most times I've bought this game: 5 times. I bought it on PC on CD-ROM, purchased it on Android in two different versions, and then purchased it on Steam, and again on Steam when it was released in an HD version.
• Minecraft - from its early Java days long before it was purchased by Microsoft, up to today's very well supported Bedrock version. I dip into this game from time to time.
